Edamame for protein and carbs

I can’t eat my regular meals on a tournament day. I don’t eat rice, pizzas and burgers before the matches. If I eat rice, it takes a while to digest and makes me sleepy. I try to live with fruits and trail-mix to get energy. That is not working for me anymore.

I have turned towards Edamame. It is called baby soy beans. It has high protein and carbo. It has many other benefits also.
