I have not used a rubber cleaner solution for at least an year. I use water. The water works but it has lead, salt contents which can harm the rubber. Thats when I have started using EVian, a facial humidifier. It is expensive though.

Now XIOM has come up with a rubber cleaner. It is VOC free, so can pass the ENEZ test.
