I like the Japanese rubbers. The Japanese rubbers have the control that I’m looking for in a rubber. I have recently received a new custom balsa blade from Germany. I was so specific about the thinner sponge size, so I had to get a Joola Mambo C and Joola Mambo H of sponge size 1.8 mm. The time when I have received the Joola Mambo C and Mambo H rubbers from the Joola USA office, I had already switched the blade to Borko & Sons custom blade.
Joola Mambo C
I seriously think the complete effect of this rubber can be explosed with speed glue only. It has a Japanese rubber feeling. The speed and spin come in close to TSP BJorn rubber only.
Joola Mambo H
Joola Mambo H has slightly harder sponge. The topsheet has great tension built to it. The tension on its top sheet has given me a feeling that it has lost the Japanese rubber touch. It has speed and spin close to tensor rubbers, so I would compare this to a butterfly bryce.
