Nittaku Fast Arc
I have been looking for a rubber in 1.7mm sponge size for a while. The Nittaku Fast Arc S1 comes with a sponge having a medium size. Although I did not like it’s playing characteristics, I thought I should try to make it fit.
The Nittaku Fast Arc S1 is made in Germany. Nittaku calls it having a strong sponge. I have tried this rubber on Dr.Neubauer Firewall Plus with Armstrong Twister DEF long pips on the other side. After hitting for a while, I came to the conclusion is that the Fast Arc is no different than XIOM Omega II Asian.
The XIOM Omega II Asian comes with a hard sponge. The Fast Arc also has a hard sponge. The topsheet characteristics is very much similar with the pips configuration.
The topsheet of Nittaku Fast has very less dwelling, so throws the balls out faster with a high arc. The rubber is very fast too.
